Does anyone use Gemini? Advice?

Upper management at BM suggested that I use Gemini as they would be the best option to deposit a larger amount. On top of that they would happily reimburse any fees that I incurred to send the wire and buy the crypto.

As of right now I have a fully verified Gemini account including an approved linked bank account. They sent me detailed wire instructions but when I went to the bank they claimed the instructions were missing a couple things from the corresponding bank like their account number and address. I find that hard to believe as the same instructions are on the app and I’m sure if others before me had any issues they would amend the instructions by now

Gemini doesn’t have a customer service phone number and do everything via email. Their email response time isn’t the best and when I ask direct questions they are very vague. They also claim that I can buy crypto through my linked account without sending them a wire but I find that really hard to believe.

Anyone have any advice or suggestions? I really don’t understand why BM won’t let me send a wire directly to them. They are making me go through all these steps for no logical reason? Please note I am from Canada.

Gemini is as good as you can get bitcoin wise. A bank wire is pretty basic stuff. You either have a problem with the bank or the wiring instructions. It should be pretty easy to sort out . Gemini does respond to emails. On the downside, nothing is timely when dealing with them.

Bookmaker has pretty much gone to hell all the way around.

I have never tried so hard and failed so much to give money to someone. I’m only at BM because after fighting back and forth with Pinnacle for 3-4 months they would not allow me to deposit more than $3,000 a day (because I live in the only regulated province in Ontario). With NFL starting today I have two sportsbook accounts with $0.00 and unable to bet anything. This is beyond mind boggling to me.

They've gone backwards since legalization in all areas.

Personally I have never heard of Gemini. I use CashApp primarily but have used Edge wallet in the past with success sending and receiving from books. I try to not use CashApp for book stuff since my information is linked to it

Hello Aikman, thank you very much for this post/advice. ShakePay was very easy to set up, verify account, has more fraud prevention methods, quick to link my bank account and the wiring instructions are so simple (One Canadian bank) vs four page instructions from Gemini with multiple bank accounts. Shakepay is definitely more geared for Canadians. I will report bank tomorrow how the wire goes but I expect no issues. This forum is amazing thanks to all

Yes Six13. Shakepay is attached to your bank. Mind u there buy/sell is around 2.5%
