How come we can’t give them to other posters? How come they will expire after one year? Seems like it’s going to be kinda tough to reach that 10,000 point number in a year just for a matching $100 deposit, or have I read it all wrong?

Wait, what? They will expire in 1 year? But you can’t cash out until you reach Goat @ 10k pts. So you have until 1 year to reach Goat or else you start losing pts. That seems impossible to do for most of us.

I have already addressed this issue to the higher ups when the program rolled out and don't think the wording was right on that pic. At that time, they were just worried about getting the program rolled out for football and are still updating the software. Just today I have the ability to give out points directly so please check your accounts as I will be adding coins all day.

The intention is for active users to have a chance to earn enough coins that they are eligible to cash out as GOAT ballers, but we don't want users to hoard coins and P2P transfers opens up the program for abuse.

Also, to clarify, no coins currently in circulation are currently expiring. Once we get more users into the program and program new features, we'll have more information about this.

Another thing we're thinking about is a future auction where GOATs can bid on something that we have a limited supply of - for instance Super Bowl tickets. There are a lot of fun ways the program will evolve over time.

Don't have to be p2p transfer. Just like 100 points buys $5 or something towards a charity BMR got listed, or something like that.
