Also minus -1.25, 1.5 and 1.75 goals.

why the different prices on these numbers since the finals always end in whole numbers. Am I missing something? Just something I’ve noticed. Obviously not a big soccer bettor here.

I also see these on totals for the match. For example, over 3.75 goals is priced differently than 3.5 goals and 3.25

Someone please explain

A few basics. In round #s, 1/4-goal is worth ~ 40 cents. So, 1/2-goal is worth ~ 80 cents.

Asian lines = handicap lines. Similar to the spread in Football.

When it line is on the half-goal or Full-goal, that's a standard line. The lines on the 1/4-ball means that you split your risk. Think about it like this:

$200 on Switz +0.5 (+100) = $100 @ +0.5 (+100) and $100 @ +0.5 (+100).

$200 on Switz +0.75 (-140) = $100 @ +0.5 (-140) and $100 @ +1 (-140).

just breaks down the bets into 2 bets instead of 1

+1.25 would be +1 and +1.5
+1.5 is standard just one bet +1.5
+1.75 is +1.5 and +2
-1.25 is -1 and -1.5
-1.5 is standard
-1.75 is -1.5 and -2

basically a way for u to half win and half lose alot of bets

same thing with totals

3.25 is 3 and 3.5
3.75 is 3.5 and 4

ur bet is broken down into 2 separate bets

Are you going to start exploring soccer markets, BigJay?
I rarely bet soccer but when I have in the past it’s always been on the three-way line or in a final “team to raise the cup” that covers me for OT or pk’s afterward.

But with nothing else going on right now I was thinking about maybe making a couple of small soccer wagers. I always wondered about the fractions and was confused. Now I understand what they mean

I'm glad we have soccer player enthusiasts on the board to help us with these complicated questions.

Thank you, @chuckythegoat2

It's mostly b/c Soccer is a low-scoring game. If you price it on just the Half-goal or Full-goal, the juice jumps a lot.

The 1/4-ball is sometimes the closest proxy to a -110/-110 market.
i asssumed it was a scam by the books to get alot of juice money sometimes i just want bet over 3 but lot of books i see would have like a 3.25 so had to take half bet on 3 and half on 3.5 takes out full pushes that's why i didn't like betonline soccer lines too many asian lines and they wouldn't let u parlay soccer and very limited options with free plays
