First Concert I Ever Attended

I was 15 years old 1972 tickets were $4.50 in advance and $5.00 at the door.

My 1st concert too only mine was in 69 I think. I had the premium seats 6.50.

What gets me you would get 3 very good bands for that money sometimes. One of my very 1st was Johnny Winter,MC5, and another I can't remember. Do remember Hells Angels jumping seats going after somebody though lol.

Was general admission they Honolulu Civic Arena they tore it down a few years later. I saw a Frank Zappa there and he commented about playing a wrestling arena.

I had 49ers tickets starting in 1981 they were $20 and went up $5 every year which seemed reasonable till ten years went bye then 15 years and you get my gist. Same thing with ski lift tickets went up $2 every year.

i was talking about this a couple of days ago, im not sure how kids growing up and dating can do concerts now

think about kids now taking out a date, gas and dinner and a concert that adds up big time now

Another thing that pisses me off are the Ticketmaster fees you can’t even buy tickets at the box office anymore. Paid $180 to go see the Rolling Stones $211 out the door

boy they line up here a couple of days ago to get hank williams jr tickets, all way around the colisum, i may go, just never got into his music that much, i like modern country here

What a great lifelong memory for you guys. I have been to a bunch from all different types of music from oldies to heavy metal to rap. Nothing like Zeppelin though
