asked why Hamtpon, Mercer, UNCA, here's my synopsis:

Hampton-2nd game in which they lost the 1st by only 6 and have a chance at revenge. The pirates have finished the season strong, winning 3 of their last 5. When looking at Ken-Pom rankings, not much separates them Elon is ranked 316th (-12.9) and Hampton is 337th (17.6). While Elon's big strength has been offense all year they haven't been doing as well the last 4 games, averaging only 67 points and going 1-3 in those games. While Hampton on the year has given up an avg of 76.9 points per game, the last 5 games they've been giving up almost 6 pts less at 71 points per in 4 of the last 5. Statistically these 2 teams are very similar but Hampton is getting better while Elong hasnt.

Mercer-these 2 split during the year, with Mercer winning by 9 last time after only losing by 2 the previous time. Bears have won 4 of the last 5 and have beaten solid teams in conference recently like Furman (last game), and Samford and UNCG. Mercer is better on the rebounding side, where they have a huge advantage in size. Defensively Citadel has major issues and has had 2 streaks of 6 game losing streaks in their own conference, so this is a great chance for Mercer to beat up on a foe they've proven they can beat this year.

UNCA(Cashville)-UNCA has the best player on the court in Drew Pember who should shine in this game. Charleston southern is only scroing 68 pts per contest, while UNCA is scoring 80 a game. UNCA did beat this team by 31 last time (6 prior) and will use that knowledge and scouting of previous game to blow the doors off a bad Charleston Southern team tonight.

This TN Martin line makes almost no sense for a 2 vs 3. TN Martin will be fully rested, getting the Bye as a 2 vs the lower ranked (3) Morehead who played a tough SIUE Team. There are arguments that Morehead is the better team and has some of the better players, which is probably true but UT Martin did beat them in the last game by 6 and has reeled off 7 straight wins. I'll take the points with the dog, against a team that played yesterday in which they've also beat.
