The PGA TOUR policy board created an exemption for Tiger Woods to play the circuit's eight signature events based on his "exceptional lifetime achievement," commissioner Jay Monahan announced, per Golf Digest's Ryan Herrington.
Woods is one of six players on the policy board, but it's unclear if he voted on the matter.
The 82-time winner has already earned lifetime membership on TOUR, but it doesn't include signature events due to their specific qualification criteria.
