When you’re around your loved ones are people in your life you always say “if I was a betting man”

Never ever say you’re a bettor 10000% looked down believe me

Even at your jobs, never ever say anything about gambling or just say if was a betting man

It could hurt you and you don’t want that tag

Weak sauce advice, if you are a gambler than claim it & embrace it. Don’t be like Shari91. JJGold taking advice from a woman not a good look here pal.

JJ is kind of right on this topic.

I usually keep it quite about how much gambling I do. Aside from my wife and kids, I've told my brother and sister and that's about it. They are interested in it more than anything.

The people from work or friends that I have typically don't have a clue about it. If someone that I know is hardcore gambler then, yeah, we talk about it, otherwise its kept pretty quiet. Those that aren't more than very casual gamblers (like SB best, or Vegas trip 1/yr), think people who gamble a lot are degenerates. Kind of like how the far-right views abortion. Its best just to keep it quiet to avoid it becoming a focus for them.

You make some valid points & I respect your position on this perspective, but I just have zero fucks given on this topic for people to misinterpret how I may gamble. Smart move by you to be this way I just don’t feel like it’s necessary to be like this for me.

I will tell you this much at least in my life and experience. In Vietnam gambling on soccer is a billion dollar business, it is unreal how big it is. The men gamble like crazy. You read in the paper sometimes where the husband lost everything, the house, the car, into the mafia here for $, marriage ruined etc etc. So women here, hear all the stories from this so instantly they think anyone that gambles on sports is no good , they don't realize that not everyone goes all in and loses everything they have, some are actually doing it responsibly and can maintain doing it. However, I am always at the games here on my phone live betting, calling my locals, talking about the scores and yelling at the game " no more goals " but in Vietnamese, when I bet the under. Most people in my life here know i gamble but they truly think everyone that gables will lose it all, however in this country, not all but a lot of people think weed is in the same classification as opium and that is bad too. So go figure.

My wife just thinks I’m ‘passionate’ when I do this as I watch an NFL team that’s up by 4 with first-and-goal on the 1 yard line with 1:30 left on the clock take 3 kneel downs and don’t cover the spread by a half a point….2E073AEC-B873-44C3-8057-6A9CEC3ACC7E.gif
