Has college basketball always been this bad?

I am flipping back and forth from Arizona/Duke to TexasAM/Ohio State

I am just in awe of how bad some of these players are. Like no fundamental skill level whatsoever

People rag on NBA for various reasons but I don’t know who people sit through this garbage

It just helps if your a fan of the teams. I am Kentucky fan so I gravitate towards college ball but I don't hate the NBA. It just doesn't carry the same intensity in the regular season that it does in the playoffs whereas these college kids play hard every game and there seems to be more teamwork involved.

Yeah I mean I'm not diehard for any team in either CBB or NBA

NBA the talent level is just so incredibly high. There are lulls in the season, but reality is it's just incredibly difficult to guard certain players

CBB you can just sag off half the players on the court and be fine. I like the school/intensity element, but it's just hard when you're watching these kids lay bricks out and throw bad passes

The college game has suffered because the best players leave early and now with the portal teams lose a lot from year to year and have to replace them with new faces. It hurts continuity and I think the product is worse because of that. I was hopeful that NIL would change things because kids would stay longer now that they can make money before going to the NBA draft but so far its tough to say whether the game is better because of NIL.

Agree with you ST and Jrgum.
The game has really fallen off. Guards don't handle the ball well. Everyone trying to do their one on one game. Overall, its not very good ball anymore.

Best games are coaches that have discipline and drive defensive play and team motion offense IMO.

the fast track to get the nba money is killing the top teams as players want to go to the top teams to get notice for 1 year and boom they are gone............it sad

College needs same rules as football

Coming out early destroyed it
