Hi everybody,

I want to share with all of you my terrible experience with Bets10.

Any help from BMR with this issue is highly appreciated.

First of all I must admit that my first mistake was to put my trust in a company like Bets10, quite unknown in the industry. After what happened, obviously I'll never do something like that.

On September 6 I decided to open an account with them. During these two months I have placed a total of 284 bets. I lost 117 and I won 167, producing a net gain of 6.032 Euro. As my initial deposit was 100 Euro and I received a bonus of 50%, my current balance is 6.182 Euro.

On September 24 I tried to log in my account and I received this nice message: “Customer is not activated”. When you have a problem with Bets10, you will know it when you try to log in in your account. They are unable to send a miserable email to explain what happens. At this time my balance was about 3.000 Euro. Seems to be that they were already worried about my balance. They wanted lots of documents: Passport, holding passport, utility bill, Skrill screenshots….. Of course I sent all the documentation requested and after 24 hours I received the following message: “We have now received/approved your documents.”. They also included a comment that I found something strange. Now I get it. It was “Important Information: Our payments department has the right to request additional documents if/when necessary”. It is very unusual to receive that kind of message after I have verified my account! They were already thinking that if my balance continued to rise in the future, something would have to do. My second and last mistake was to continue playing with them.

On November 5, I tried to log in my account and receive that message: “Your account has been limited, contact support for further information”. Again they were unable to send an email to notify this. After sending an email, they told me “Your account is under investigation right now, and these controls are going to be ended in 3 working days”. After a few days, I try to log in and I receive again the nice message “Customer is not activated”. Once more time they were unable to send an email to notify this. It seems to be that they have to pay for sending emails or something like that. After asking by email, they told me that my account has been closed and they don’t want to answer any further questions about this. They don’t want to see nobody winning money in their website. Maybe small company with financial problems, bad losers… difficult to say what happen exactly.

For me 6.182 Euro is lot of money and I thought I have to call them because I don’t understand nothing. I was tired of emails without answer the questions. Well, it was impossible because they don’t have even a number phone where to call!

Will see what happen with my money…. but at this point I hope that everyone avoid Bets10.

To summarize:

- Poor communication
- Lack of ethics and professionalism
- And FINALLY: If you are successful with your bets, they can close your account and keep your money

I encourage everyone to spread this to avoid more people are scammed!

any advice? what can I do?. I read that LGA is not helping when players are scammed...

You should definitely report your case to the LGA.

BMR have immediately sent Bets10 a link to this page so they are aware, but when you ask for advice, the only thing I can recommend to players is not to build such large balance with NR (not rated) bookmakers.

It will not help you recover your winnings, but hopefully will stop other players from doing the same.

Anyway, let's see whether Bets10 shows any interest in reconsidering the case and eventually we'll follow up with them in private.

Last week I exchanged with them some emails, and the "reason" provided to me is:

"Bets10 does not accept bets when it is likely that customers act in agreement, or as a syndicate. Placing identical bets from more than one account and from the same IP address might be considered a syndicate even if the personal betting limits has not been reached. Syndicate betting is considered as fraud and may lead to reduction of betting limits, closing of account, confiscation of winnings and/or cancellation of all placed bets (even decided ones). Legal action may also be considered."

I would like to say that never in my life I have met a person who has an account at Bets10. As simple as that. Obviously I made my bets with my own judgment. Also the most of my bets were In Play bets and I placed a total of 284 bets.... the "reason" provided is simply ridiculous.

After years placing bets it is definitely my worst experience. I'm totally sure that the problem here is they don't want to pay the money I won honestly in their website. I feel totally ripped off.

Of course they have been absolutely unable to provide any evidence. I guess it is very difficult to provide any evidence about something that never happened.

If someone has money there, I would recommend to withdraw it as soon as possible ... and I wish them the best of luck in this process.

Obviously I will continue trying to recover my money. Any updates will be posted.

I'm going to play devil's advocate and ask some questions:

Is there any possibility that you are a member of a forum where tips about value bets are exchanged and Bets10 was mentioned as the bookmaker where to place the bets?

Did you sign up to play on Bets10 directly on the website or is it possible that you used a referral link?

Were the majority of the bets placed for the max betting limit?

I want to speak to Bets10 again and I'm trying to exclude possible scenarios that could link you to syndicate betting.

Thanks you for your reply. Of course I'm happy to answer your questions.

- Is there any possibility that you are a member of a forum where tips about value bets are exchanged and Bets10 was mentioned as the bookmaker where to place the bets?.

I made my bets with my own judgment. I don't visit forums to decide what I have to bet. I would like to say that the majority of my bets (I'd say 95% or more) were In Play bets, where the odds are changing constantly.

- Did you sign up to play on Bets10 directly on the website or is it possible that you used a referral link?.

I signed up directly on the website.

- Were the majority of the bets placed for the max betting limit?.

The average amount placed for every bet was about 75-100 Euros. Sometimes I got the message (or similar) "The bet amount exceeds the bet limit" and I had to decrease the bet amount, but the majority of my bets were placed without receiving that message.

If you need to know any more details, of course feel free to ask again.

Thanks again for your time. Any updates will be posted.

I contacted LGA 10 days ago but I didn't get any reply from them. Any advice to recover my money?. It is 6.182 Euros...

It is simply incredible that a licensed company can confiscate the money at this way. I feel totally helpless in this situation.

First time I have a problem with a bookie. I hope it is the first and last time...

Thanks anyway
