How much for your local newspaper?

I know very few people actually purchase a physical newspaper these days. I'm on a train reading paper left behind. Curious as to current prices Boston Globe suggested daily price is 3.50. yikes are freaking kidding me?
What do yours go for in your area?

I haven't read a paper since I don't know when but we used to subscribe to the SF Chronicle until the price just got outrageous. I remember when I was a kid that I would wait for the paper to be delivered at 5 pm so I could read the Sporting green every day. Now I get all my news from the internet so I couldn't tell you what the cost of the local paper is.

It's been a while since I held a newspaper. I used to buy a 1-day old newspaper so it would be more cheaper, and of course, it's not breaking news anymore. I'm 1 day late to all the news haha

Remember as a puppy pickin up the Sunday Papers StarLedger Daily News NYPost
round 2am from street vender….maybe .50 over list…. The guy was out there in the rain,
Snow, hell he’d sell those papers in a Zombie Apocalypse …..coupla years later he didn’t show up one night…. And that was that.

i didn't even know they sell newspapers anymore. i haven't seen any newspapers in my neighbor's driveways in years.

back in the day, i used to place tiny classified ads in newspapers all across the country in thrifty nickels and what nots. i sold all kinds of stuff. it was easy money. my PO box would be stuffed to the brim full of envelopes from people ordering. i had to upgrade to the large PO boxes.

I used to love reading the paper. Learned how to read grabbing the sports page. But I can’t remember the last time I bought a newspaper. Kind of sad. Probably at the airport before a flight several years ago
