After losing a few big TV games to start (notably FSU) - doesn’t it feel like “square” plays on faves Penn St on the road and Georgia and a few other big faves paid off.

Miami was probably my biggest mistake of the day - I took Florida thinking the home dog wasn’t that bad. Also took under 54 in that one - hopefully split.

Texas winning big - Nebraska too - both seemed to be bet heavily. Ohio State was a play I steered far away from - bucks always struggle with expectations game 1 and usually 2.

Well I didn't understand the line movement in Clemson vs Georgia. Georgia is clearly better than them and they proved that today. I think a lot of people got fooled into thinking this Clemson team is like the Clemson of old just because they still have Dabo Swinney and return a lot of production. :+clueless

Agree - they can’t go 0’fer or the system wouldn’t work.

Just feels like books freerolled them with hope - only to set them up for a soul crushing week 1 of NFL where they take back all the money plus a little more.
Indeed and the funniest of the crushings they will lay on the public are all the dopes in this country who think the Raiders are trash and are going to bet the Chargers who will then get promptly destroyed.

I’ll collect my square money Jeffery no problem at all.

There’s a difference between making single play on the public fave and blindly betting the favorite without doing any real research aside from listening to what some talking head on ESPNBet said.

I think it’s well established you are not just blindly betting these games because they are on TV and
because you know the higher ranked team is bound to win.

I did well with Penn State for example - but just because it’s there doesn’t mean I need to play it. That’s the definition of a square - the player who thinks dogs never bark and that gambling is a matter of just making bigger and bigger bets if something goes wrong and you lose one - always on the prime time game.

Because Etienne was out and people over estimate Dabo’s ability to make his players better.

Bottom line - Dabo is a hell of a coach - like Saban was at ‘Bama. What he can’t do though is make his guys faster or stronger - if the other team out athletes you consistently - your gonna lose more than you win.

Clemson to me always felt like those Frank Beamer led VA Tech teams - great coach and he got way more talent than he should have at such a small school and got more out of that talent than anyone else possibly could. But at the end of the day - you bring in a squad of world class paid athletes like an SEC school does these days and your not playing on a level field.

How about last night w the REFS totally taking over that MSU game in the 4th qtr w the review & reversal of targeting & change of possession.

Hell even WIS punted away the ball down in the 4th only to recover a fumble.

I'm sure a lot of clowns had both in ML parlay.

Today Vandy buried one of my players in his 6 team parlay for 500 to win 500 lol

Bottom line Dabo is one of the coaches that just hasn’t adapted to the portal well

Saban was the same but on a much different level. His teams were still competing for nattys but he didn’t like the new era of college football and he bailed. Good for him. Didn’t have anything left to prove

Dabo just has a mediocre team and a bad case of red ass every year now

That's all true but also Dabo is one coach that for whatever reason hasn't taken to raiding the transfer portal for top talent to fill out his roster. Instead he still relies on the old way of doing things which was taking top recruits out of high school and building his teams that way. He's starting to fall behind other coaches in terms of getting elite talent and that's costing him on the field.

75 a day

I think squares pounded them if you won your a square

So the guy making half minimum wage says if you made a profit today - you’re uneducated. Sounds about right.

As I stated - winning on a particular game does not make one a “square” - blindly betting the favorite with no other research or reason than “they are due, they are better and will crush them, or it’s a big game and they always do well in national games” are some of the reasons given by square bettors who occasionally do find a blind winner.

It’s like guys who bet the 1/5 fave in horse racing - and act like winning was an accomplishment. The damn horse was a huge fave and clearly best in field - unless it’s a 4 horse field - your an idiot continuing to lay that kind of chalk as it will always burn you. Some people just want to feel the “rush” of winning and don’t care if they profit. To me that’s stupid - I gamble to profit. If I did it for entertainment solely - I’d just turn my money over to the wife to play slots - she enjoys playing the bonus games and it makes her happy. Nothing wrong if that’s your thing - until you come in here
talking a “winning” record to me.

Some people don’t understand a winning record means you make a PROFIT - not have a winning percentage of .5238 (assuming -110 lines).
