I was at the barber shop today & there was a rumor floating around that the team did not want him to travel with them & left without him.

So he showed up Wednesday to the team facility after missing 10 days of practice. Of course to save face, the team called it an excused absence. (Bulls#it).

They told him, he wouldn't be going with them to Milwaukee for the first game since he needed to work out at their home facility and get back into game shape.

Harden showed up at the airport for the team flight anyway. Team security told him, he was not to get on the plane. Nick Nurse and an Asst coach talked to him and said he needed to be at their home facility working out so they could monitor his progress. I guess they were soft pedaling an excuse to Harden about not taking him. Harden left pissed.

IMO they told Harden to "F#k-off" so that he wouldn't mess up team chemistry. The guy is like a poison pill to any team.

He has skills and is still valuable to any team but damn he comes with baggage.
Think about his rep long-term. What will he be known for? Will people talk more about his skills or his attitude?

The Clippers roster is great if we were still in 2017. This is 2023-2024 though and I think Harden detracts from their roster that may have been good enough to considered among the favorites in the West. I am skeptical that Harden adds the missing piece to their roster that has yet to win a championship. We'll see but I just don't see it because Harden has never won anything.
