Last time I played 1/3 live similar scenario.

Guy hit 4-percent runner-runner to make straight. Near $600 pot. I bought in $300. Should have had more than $900 after the pot. Had less than $250 instead.

My KK vs 99. He pushed pre flop.

I was so pissed. Especially after flopping the set. I should have left after the hand. I have trouble coming back from that kind of stuff. Lost the rest of my stack within the next 30 minutes
