What do you guys think of these rules changes? I like the expanded postseason. 9 inning game in doubleheaders means no extra innings?

Hate the DH but it had to be one way or the other. I didn't mind the extra inning rules. I thought it was good for gambling purposes getting a dog to cash but like a more traditional baseball.

Don't think we need even more teams in the playoffs.

9 inning double headers and no runners on base to start are better.

What I don't like is the possible change of preventing defensive shifts. That doesn't seem to make sense. That's like telling football teams they can't play the Tampa-2 defense or basketball teams can't full court press.

I love the Universal DH rule, they should have done this a long time ago!

Wooow so much to digest. I'm surprised that the pitch clock wasn't mentioned in that tweet. Im not a big fan of the universal DH but I{m willing to see how it plays out before taking a stance. What I don't like is the ban on defensive shifts

Now, what I really really really like is the idea of a draft lottery to avoid tanking after watching the Orioles.

Also, pretty cool that every team plays a series against every opponent in both leagues.

12 team make playoffs... Wow.

I guess we're moving toward every team making the playoffs and the regular season will just be a warmup. This is not exactly fair to the teams that perform well during the regular season and should make the playoffs. There will be teams with losing records in the mix and likely one will win at some point, which will be a joke.
