I watch very little regular season NBA because of this.

Spurs started this when the Big 3 (Duncan, Ginobli and Parker) were getting up there in age about 10 years ago and David Stern would fine them for it.

Now everyone does it.

Really no reason to play him in these games though.

Like you said about the NBA the other leagues will never cut games either as a matter of fact NFL will be going to 18 games soon

How will teams adapt to in-season tournament next season in terms of players playing, and what will their emphasis be on it. NBA has already said designated games will be played on certain nights, such as Tuesday and Friday. Will they end up keeping players out of the other games more frequently that aren't part of the in-season tournament?
