Newbie here - any foolproof bets for a fool in the next few days?

I know just enough to be dangerous. I'm 50 and haven't bet / gambled much. I expect good customer service. If you are going to offer promos to get people to use your service, I think things should be clear / not contradictory. Don't want to find out that I don't get the bonus because of small print - you didn't dot the i or cross the T. Am I expecting too much?

I wound up having issues with one online betting company and the small print of the new account / referral bonuses and bad customer service. I pulled my money & closed that account.

Tried a 2nd online betting company and they are a little better - loads of small print / typos / contradictory offers. From the promos and apologies about them, I have a few free bets in my account. I really want to get away from this company, but I can't leave something like that on the table.

Are there pretty assured bets I can make with these free bets that will most likely pay out? Even if it's not a huge payout.

I just want to pull my money. Trying to deal with their small print / details to get the promos is too annoying for me. No time to focus on actually betting. Not worth the troubles.

Who'd I have issues with?
FanDuel first - they were the worst in response time / so many steps to get the referral bonus.

DraftKings - more responsive but they sent out email promos that cause more problems because of typos / contradictory deals / rules. 1 part of an email says you'll get a $50 free bet. Then says $100 free bet. Then the small print says:

Users will be credited with four (5) $10 free bets upon bet settlement

And have things like 'First time DraftKings Sportsbook customers only.' Is that someone that hasn't bet at all at DraftKings? Someone new to draft kings that didn't leave / close the account previously?

Oh, and when I emailed DraftKings a bunch of questions about the offers, they write back that 'oh, I see your account is restricted... you need to send us ID / picture'. This was all on the weekend. The upload page

says docs will be reviewed during normal business hours. So I can't bet over the weekend? The $100 referral bet expires on Tuesday. Thinking this was because it's a new account / part of new account process, I ask why I wasn't told this during the week since opened.

What it turned out to be - I was on a windows PC, it wanted to install an app for location confirmation. As an IT consultant, I have a bunch of remote software that the app doesn't like. So it kept saying 'kill this app or that app'. Those failures supposedly got me restricted? but on my phone I logged in and placed a bet. So I am not restricted? Did I really place the bets? I do or don't need to send pics / IDs...

Then when the restriction stuff got resolved, I re-ask all the questions about the promos. A time waster!
