This is a pace less race and your favorite will be well back early in all probability. Does not mean it cannot win, but I see no value to getting a short price on a horse that might very well have no early pace to run into late.

Only speed I see is possibly the 2 horse who showed speed last time because the early fractions were slow or the 9 who comes off a 1 1/4 mile maiden win. The nine is very well bred and Mott so at 8-1, might be worth trying to pull an upset in a race that is made to go slower early than normal giving the advantage to horses closer up.

You never know for sure, but that is what the form suggests.
