Ohtani isn't in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Athletics, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Spin:Fletcher notes that this is simply a scheduled off day for the two-way star. Max Stassi will get a chance to serve as the designated hitter and Kurt Suzuki will handle the catching duties in Ohtani's absence.

Pederson is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Padres, according to Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune.
Spinederson rarely faces left-handers, so it should come as no surprise that he is being held out with southpaw Blake Snell on the bump for the opponent. Luis Gonzalez will start in left field in Pederson's place.

Belt is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Padres, according to Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune.
Spin:Belt is hitting just .216 since the All-Star break and the Giants are facing lefty Blake Snell on Monday, so manager Gabe Kapler decided to give Belt the night off. Wilmer Flores will start at first base in Belt's place.
