Some sportsbooks recently licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and now online for UK-based customers to use:

www.betonbrazil.com (promoted by Alan Brazil)

www.energybet.com (official betting partner of Aston Villa)

www.viks.com/uk/sports

www.grosvenorcasinos.com/sport (powered by Kambi)

www.beteast.co.uk (powered by TGP).

I haven't tried any of them myself yet, so can't recommend or not recommend them.

Have now tried the Grosvenor Casino sportsbook, but am currently having issues with my first withdrawal (withdrawal request was reversed with no explanation and they have so far failed to respond to my emails - their live chat facility seems to be down as well). Although I'm confident that I will get my money in due course, I would advise players to avoid using this site until I can post an update.

Am pleased to report that I have now had confirmation that my Grosvenor withdrawal has finally been processed. Had to send ID, two lengthy emails and spend quite a long time with them on live chat (which frequently has a message saying no operators are available) before it was processed, however. Not a great experience, but a satisfactory outcome in the end.

For what it's worth, Betboro.co.uk have also just taken out a UK licence and they are offering a sports deposit bonus of up to 100 GBP for new customers, although I haven't looked into what strings are attached.

The most recent addition to the list is mybet.com who are now offering a sportsbook to UK customers (they had previously only been offering a casino). At the moment, however, they don't appear to be offering any sports bonuses to new customers (their odds look a bit below average too).

Have you got a link. When I go to mybet.com it re-directs to a "classic" site for UK customers - casino only.

Try https://mybet.com/en - it should take you to their sports homepage.

I'm afraid, though, I might have made a mistake here. Although the UKGC logo now appears on their sports homepage, the UK Gambling Commission website still lists them as only being licensed to operate a casino, so it may be that they can't (yet) accept sports bets from the UK. It's probably worth checking with them directly.

The newest addition is www.mustardbet.com/sports

The site is still at a developmental stage and only a limited selection of football markets are being offered at present (although the odds on some of the shorter priced teams looked pretty good to me). Other sports and markets are promised - worth keeping an eye on.

The site is powered by TGP and appears to be offering new customers a free bet of up to 30 GBP after a certain number of qualifying bets have been placed.
