I believe Texas passed similar laws as Florida where kids can have phones in class

Regardless, it's Texas, and that kid is probably gonna be charged (and rightfully so)

Teacher should be standing there with his hands up, not fists out, but palms out in a defensive look, and not with his hands by his side pumping out his chest.

He was just asking to get clocked by an unscrupulous kid and the first time the old white teacher gets called niqqah!!! he should have been on the physical defensive.

Or maybe just given the phone back...lmao. I don't the rules or situation, but punching the dude is probably not in the phone negotiation crads...lol... so kid is in trouble I'm sure.
