Depends on what party you are associated with. I think she did very well supporting the dems. They liked her.

She was a democrat. In office since 1992 (31 years). That means she was first elected as a senator at 59 yo which is pretty old to be starting a political career.

She's been exceptionally ill for months and should have retired a couple years ago when her health started to fail.

Geez I thought my comment was rather callous but you guys outdo me lol. I do believe government needs much younger blood. Not saying you definitely should be disqualified for being a certain age but let's face it some of them are way past their prime.

My last job had a union run by good old boys and girls who always seem to retain their coveted positions. Incompetent,arrogant,corrupt,and so out of touch with those they represented.
