7-Unit Play. Fridays play Take Seattle Storm -7 over Seattle (Friday @ 10pm est)
I know it sounds crazy here, but we think Seattle is going to win and going to win possibly by double-digits here. Remember, what you have here is a Seattle team that has revenge, that has lost to this Minnesota team 3 straight times, a team that has veteran leadership, who is angry, who has shown they can beat a team like Connecticut at home by double digits and who has phenomenal defense. There is no way Seattle lays down here at home. Seattle comes off a 5 point loss to Vegas, Minnesota has Clark and Indiana on deck, Seattle only put up 36 points in the first half in their last game, they started off slow, they shot 3/17 from 3 point land and will have a much, much better effort today for a solid win.
7-Unit Play. teaser Take New York Yankees -125 over Baltimore Orioles (Friday @ 7:05pm est)
We roll with the Yankees here as we come off a great win on the Diamondbacks which bring us to a +4740 run in Baseball as we seek to make it +5100. We do have a 7*WNBA Selection today after a pass yesterday and we had won a 7* selection the prior day for a solid +3600 run in the WNBA. Per this selection, we like the Yankees here. What you have here is that the Ynakees did lose 4-5 to the Rays last game, they ahve lost 3 of 4 coming in, they face an Orioles team here who they lost 2 of 3 games against to earlier this year. Baltimore of course comes in after losing 3 straight games including back to back 0 runs as well. Cole and Povic here. Cole does have a 6.75 era by the way, this is only his 5th start mind you so he is still finding his footing. He went 4 innings, 3 hits and 2 runs last time against the Orioles adn lost, he had a great start against Toronto sandwiched in, but he did have 8 strikeouts last game although he gave up 4 runs against the Redsox. We like the Yankees to bounce-back here and although Povic comes offf his worst start of the year against the Athletics, where he did not make it even 2 innings, at the end of the day, he gave up 1 run in 4 innings in his last start against the Yankees, we expect the Yankees to have a little revenge against him too. Plus, remember, Povic has given up 5 homeruns in his last 3 starts and we like the veteran leadership of Cole to come through even though we expect Povic to pitch better and it's a decent public fade too. Yankees it is.
