We roll with the Diamondbacks here. Great spot here for them. Arizona is now 50-48 and has quietly reeled off a great tail end of the first half. Arizona has won 11 of their last 16 games and does come off a 5-2 win over the Cubs. We wish the Cubs did not come off a loss, but keep in mind, this team beat he Dodgers, Padres and Braves in 2 of 3 games. They have been stringing wins together and of course the Cubs had a great series against the Orioles but have struggled lately. Remember, Gallen comes off his worst back to back starts where he gave up 16 hits, 8 innings and this was the worst 2 game stretch for Gallen so he will be highly motivated coming in. And you have Hendricks, who comes off a great 7 innings, 0 run start against the Cardinals, a divisional rival and I think he has a huge let down as he has not put together quality back to back starts yet this season. Let's roll with the Diamondbacks even though they are public favorites as the team is playing well and we get Gallen on a bounce-back and Hendricks on a let down.
