Sports betting is always fun and mind-numbing at the same time. In the spring with the NBA and NHL playoffs going concurrently, we find strange occurrences.

Today, we share some of those within each sport. Clayton Kershaw reaches 200 wins and that’s not all he’s done. This and our Top Trends from many facets, free picks, and a sensational system just for you!

About Last Night…

NBA

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Phoenix Suns got their revenge and covered the spread against the Knicks and Clippers respectively. Next is the important Game 3’s which could sway the series one way for the winning team.

Of note, in the 16-team NBA Playoffs that officially started last Saturday, the SU winner is 13-0 against the spread and on a 171-13 ATS run. Find the winner and you are making loads of money.

NHL

Tuesday is what we have come to expect from the NHL Playoffs with all four road underdogs winning and all were by two goals or more. After just two days of hockey, betting all the underdogs has collected +680 of profit on $100 bets and a 6-2 record.

Because it is an annual tradition now, why do we ever expect anything different? This year, like the past god knows how many years -this is the Year Toronto is different. They quickly fell behind 3-0 to Tampa Bay as -155 home favorites.

They gave Maple Leafs fans and backers hope in cutting the margin to 3-2 before being shredded 7-3. And Toronto did something (awful) they had not done in 30 years.

MLB

Clayton Kershaw is the best pitcher of his generation, who helped the laboring Dodgers with a 5-0 shoutout against the Mets last night as a -150 favorite.

Kershaw might not be as dominant at 35 as he was at 23 through 30 years of age, but he’s still better than 90% of the hurlers in baseball. Last night, seven innings, three hits, 9 Ks, and No walks.

If you would like to question this observation, read this first.

Today is April 19th and let’s officially bury Washington, Oakland, Colorado, and Kansas City who are a combined 17-54. That is a -28.9 unit in less than three weeks of baseball from these four scrubs. Don’t you at least wonder how much money you could make if you bet against each team every day?

The Buzz

NFL – Chris Paul Nightmare Over (Sort Of)

The Phoenix Suns winning last night ended a 13-game losing streak from State Farm Insurance spokesman Chris Paul with Scott Foster as one of the referees. This dated back 10 years. How are Paul and Foster already not in a State Farm commercial about “when bad things happen?”

NBA – Golden State’s Job in Now Harder

Though Kings’ Domantas Sabonis was holding Draymond Green’s foot while lying on the ground in Game 2, Green didn’t have to stomp on his chest. A smarter player would have thrown himself to the ground and the replay would have shown Sabonis’ intent.

But that is not Green, and in his team’s biggest game of the season thus far, Green will be in street clothes and the Warriors dropped from -7.5 to -5.5 in the process for Game 3.

NBA – Full Speed Ahead for an In-Season Tournament

NBA commissioner Adam Silver said the league’s upcoming in-season tournament will look different from the regular season. The NBA has seen the success soccer has had in doing this and wants to emulate it.

We are not sure about this, what are your thoughts without understanding all that is involved?

Top Betting System

NBA Playoffs

Timberwolves vs. Nuggets (-8.5)

Play Against playoff road underdogs of 3.5 to 9.5 points like Minnesota in the second game of a playoff series. This system is 27-5 ATS, including 3-0 this year, with the dogs losing by an average of 14.3 PPG.

Out the Door

MLB – Owners Want Baseball Contracts Shortened, Players Say No

This is a curious topic. San Diego’s owner signed Fernando Tatis Jr. for 14 years and Xander Bogaerts along with Manny Machado to 11-year deals. Nobody made Peter Seidler do that and in truth, there was no market for that many years from other teams.

If owners were more responsible themselves, they wouldn’t be in this predicament. And now if the owners go back to more responsible 5-year deals, the players union will shout “Collusion”.

Baseball has been innovative in making changes to improve the sport and needs a minimum and maximum salary cap that is a combination of the NFL and NBA, where everyone wins. (Ok except the fans)

NBA – Intrigue

With Giannis, Draymond, and Morant, either out or unlikely to play, those are tough betting spots for those that would want to back Milwaukee, Memphis, and Golden State the next two days.

Unless you are convinced all three will do extra to win and cover, either take the underdog or sit these out for betting opportunities.

NHL – What Game 1 Home Losers

As mentioned, six home teams lost as favorites to open their series. Not all six are going to win and someone will be down 0-2 and headed on the road. How many do you think there will be and who are they?

(Our take: New Jersey and Toronto)
