Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel is still maintaining that Tua Tagovailoa is not in the NFL concussion protocol, though that doesn’t mean the QB is a lock to play in Week 4 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.
Several former NFL players have weighed in, saying they believe it was pretty obvious Tua had a concussion in Sunday’s win over the Buffalo Bills.

Regarding Tua: for those saying, “well he passed the concussion test.” I passed a concussion test once, finished playing in the game, flew home, drove to my neighborhood and had no idea which house was mine. Test or not, the man couldn’t walk straight. Play it safe! #FinsUp

If it turns out that Tagovailoa did have a concussion, he’ll be highly questionable to play just four days later when Cincinnati hosts Miami on Thursday Night Football. But even if he’s out, Bridgewater is more than capable of leading this Dolphins team to wins, especially since this would arguably be the best supporting cast he’s ever had.
