Watching the game there’s no one in the stands they just blew a beautiful outing by Montas. They just need a change of scenery they have no fans anymore

I'm tired of these cities that get chance after chance after chance when there's plenty of other cities in other states that are deserving

Yes it has. Hopefully it will end up happening! It will be pretty good for Vegas. I know the owners have been out here looking at potential sites for a stadium

Yes it's been going on years with the attendance to be honest the owner has been more than patient and he probably should have moved the team a long time ago the Baseball fans in Central Florida suck

Tampa Bay Bucs and Tampa Bay Lightning game sell out regularly but nobody goes to the Rays games even when they're winning

Right now they play in St Petersburg but they've been trying to get a stadium in Tampa with hopes of improving attendance but it's been a struggle back and forth and the most recent talks say we'll know what's going to happen within the next 6 months

The Bay Area is Giants territory. The A's had their day but it's not today. The owners don't give a crap about the fans so finally the fans have had enough. Hit these billionaires where it hurts, in their wallets.
The ballpark is a disgrace. Walked by it a few years ago going to a Warriors game and there is literally a moat around the ballpark. Good riddance.

So I gotta know anyone here took advantage of that Oakland A’s epic 20 game winning streak nearly 10 years ago ? I remember I jumped in after 14 games paying extra juice like an asshole at that point winning 6 in a row. I waited & waited & then I got FOMO at 14 lol.

I’m use to it for more than a decade down here in Miami with the Marlins.

Nothing ever is. Although tickets for their minor league team aren’t too bad out here. You can get a decent seat for about $25 and like for example tonight is $2 beer night

Summerlin in Vegas is a real nice place to live off the strip. Red rock Casino is right there too as well along with the AAA affiliate A’s as you mentioned.

Calm down MF. Been here all my life. They only show outsiders like you the bad things. Plenty of good neighborhoods in San Francisco and the outskirts. No comment on Oakland though.

That is the design. They are just banking the money they get from the Dodgers and Yankees to lose. They are trying to hold up Oakland for taxes and they are not dumb enough to go for it so they just keep trying to piss people off enough that they can leave.

Isn't that site a toxic waste dump? I mean, seriously, I'm almost certain I read somewhere that WW2 toxic waste was buried there.

There's got to be more hurdles ahead if they intend to put housing on the site along w the ball park.
