I was born and bred into a Cardinals fan. My dad had season tickets for 37 years. I went to the 82, 85, 87, 2006, 2011 World Series. My dad went with his dad to the 42,44,46, 64 , 67 and 68 World Series. My dad means the world to me. I came back to California in August and helped my dad get into an assisted living facility, he has heart failure and dementia but I made his apartment very “cardinal” friendly. He gets compliments daily from other residents about the Cardinals memorabilia! This is the hardest time in my life but bringing me joy to do this for my dad. The picture with my dad and I with Lasorda is probably 20 years old or so
