IDK Wager. Inflation is making $15 look like $8 looked a few years ago.
Seems like post-covid there aren't many willing to work in that industry and many others.
A high school kid lives behind us (in his parents house). He works at Burger K*ng. They are hiring any warm bodies. Convicts, HS dropouts, etc... They even hired one of the homeless people that had been hanging around the restaurant for weeks. It's crazy out there.
No typo will ever top WSEX "sinisterly" apologizing after they shut down.
I'm guessing the BK typo was caused by someone not getting enough sleep because they had to be at work at 5AM. 20 years ago I worked 5AM opening shift at a coffee shop for $5.15/hour and could barely function. For those who criticize my only response is:
"I never gave a damn about the meter man 'til I was the man who had to read the meter, man" -Mike Watt
You are correct Tanko but most people forget it was the push for and the eventual rise in minimum wage that started inflation.
People think it started with gas prices.
Everything started going up as a domino effect after the big jump in pay.
