Why should BMR treat him any better than real life ?

Only difference between JJ and most G leaguers - guys down in the G league have placed a winning bet.

Maybe we can use him as our man on the inside to figure out which way the fix is going to go.
I remember the first week you came over here and we were playing that charade that you were JJGold’s son as you were playing along for kicks. I knew damn well that you weren’t really his son because you were way too intelligent to be part of any of his DNA.

JJ is already in the poster Hall of Fame. There's no reason for him to go to the G League
Bobby, There will be many different rooms in the poster HOF.

Some rooms will be bright and display busts/scupltures proudly and then some will be similar to a closet, dark, damp, and unaccessible. I'm thinking JJ may go in the latter.

I’ve got a rock in my garden that’s too intelligent to share any DNA with JJ.

I do remember my father talking of this family that lived down the street from him growing up in Newark. Bald, small cock, always trying to borrow money and would often be seen staying under the bridge after losing a bet to Vito the bookie. Often wondered if paths may have crossed with JJ many years ago.

JJ will be the guy mowing the grass and trimming the bushes out front of the Poster HOF - no way in hell he’s actually getting inside - much less as an inductee.

What makes you even think that? The guy has been around for years and has hundreds of thousands of posts across many different forums. He has countless classic videos and is a legend on any forum that he comes across

So using the criteria of:

- Thousands of post
- Instant name recognition across multiple forums
- Creator of classic videos posted to forums

That would suggest there is a place for Brock in the poster HOF as well.

I will grant you JJ created some all time great bits that remain funny today - so did Saturday Night Live for a decade plus. Things change - sometimes the spark fades and the bits just aren’t as good.

My definition of an all time great poster is one who post info that post winners or at least gives deeper insight that makes the reader a better handicapper and inspires them to pick their own winners - the old feed a man a fish - teach a man to fish adage.

We have plenty of people who post picks - and some are very good. The best though are the ones who can elaborate on WHY they like a side and what they look for. I’m a decent writer - but I simply don’t posses the insight some of these posters posses instinctively. The content that keeps people “tuning in” to a forum is the content that makes POSTERS not the forum money.

JJ is great entertainment from time to time - and even occasionally shares a pick or 2 - but he isn’t making anyone rich. Give me a poster who can share 60% winners and tell me how they do it any day.

I’ll of course continue to support JJ - but let’s not confuse quantity with quality or remarkable with memorable.
