I can remember the days when I could buy the Boston Herald and Boston Globe daily for I believe .25 each daily. I actually used to sell them both along with other periodicals at one time lol.
Can’t remember the time I read a paper newspaper.

I used to live for getting the paper in the morning as a young kid. Learned to read as a kindergartener reading the sports page before school.

I’m surprised they’re even in business anymore unfortunately. They make very little money off advertising. Classified ads used to be full not to mention full page car dealership.

Had several friends that worked newspapers get laid off in the early 00s.

The days of getting a newspaper and reading it cover to cover for an hour or more are gone. Today’s generation wants their news in 3 or 30 seconds on their phone.

It’s unbelievable what happened to a newspaper there’s nothing in it anymore and the price is sky high
Wall Street Journal isn't bad. Its still a healthy sized paper but the damn paper delivery guy doesn't delivery consistently (misses at least 2x/week). Costs ~ $600/yr.

I get my local newspaper digitally for 1 year $6 special. After trial period it's $14 biweekly which is when I will cancel. Very little good content but I hadn't read a newspaper in years. I forget to read it most days.
