Wrong. The stats do not bear this out.
They may be the best team in National League but they are not the best team in baseball.

• Granted Atlanta has the 2nd best record behind TB but they should be behind Texas as well. Based on runs allowed/runs scored, Texas should be just ahead of the Braves in wins.
• From a sports betting perspective they aren't even close to performing better than other teams.
  Ari, Bal, Cin, Mia, SF, and Tex are all playing above Atl as far as expectations at the book are concerned.

They are good but not the best right now.
