We the people to have some strength in as we are consumers and vote with are $. If you don't care for a certain companies product, Don't buy it. If you don't like the way a product is marketed (Say as a television commercial campaign) , Don't buy that product. Power to the people.

Disney recently got praise from Marvel fans (HUGE fan & customer base) because they refrained from putting woke stuff in their last 2 big movies, like they have been in everything else

I haven't seen the new Indian Jones, but if true, sounds like they are getting off course again

I don't get the Disney doom and gloom. last quarter their profits were up 13% generating over 21 billion in rev. Which is quite well actually coming off the pandemic. Is it simply because they aren't everyone's fav cup of tea at the moment?

Pretty much business as usual, no?

(Politics aside - just from a business standpoint)

I ask because I have been watching and looking for a buying opportunity stock wise with them. Got to figure at some point there will be a really sweet spot to grab and wait for a bounce. Almost got in at 87 and a half but didn't pull the trigger so wondering if maybe I whiffed already

Or am I just crazy?

From everything I've heard & read, attendance at the parks are way down, and many movie fans, a large majority those who follow all of the Marvel & very important to Disney, boycotted because of things they kept including in the films

But the last 2 big Marvel movies, including Galaxy Of The Guardians, they eliminated the political stuff, and have received much praise for that

When you piss off half of your customer-base, there's no doubt you are going to feel it, regardless how successful you already are

Not to mention they are also in a battle with Ron Desantis & half of Florida's population

This is a company who is putting out cartoons with the characters arguing over race for kids to see

I do know I own Disney stock and it has been dropping for quite a while now

I'm actually going to Disney soon per Florida Residents special lol
