The award-winning casino and poker operator reported a 67 per cent rise in revenues up to £9.77m, while the total active players grew by 102% to 17,587.
32Red made an average of over £500 per quarter from each casino player over the second half of 2005. It earned less from poker players, averaging £79 and £80 for Q3 and Q4 2005 respectively.
The company announced further good progress since it listed on AIM on September 2005 and is confident in prospects for 2006.
“New customers continue to be attracted by the 32Red brand and the high quality gaming experience it represents. Our core casino business saw us hit new heights across all key measures in 2005 and our poker product continues to grow very strongly. With new software initiatives and increased marketing activity in the coming months we expect to deliver further growth across the business in 2006,” said Ed Ware, 32Red CEO.
UPDATE: 32Red has been awarded the \’Best Online Casino\’ prize from online casinos watchdog Casinomeister for the third year in a row.
“In this business, trust and reputation is everything – without this, you have nothing. 32Red casino is a prime example of a casino that gives this industry credence, and their formula is simple: treat your players better than you would expect yourself to be treated,” commented Casinomeister\’s Bryan Bailey.
“This is just amazing news. To win it once was fantastic, to win the second year was truly amazing but to top the list for a third successive year is truly mind blowing. This award is a testament to the hard work of all the staff here at 32Red, whose aim is to make the player experience at 32Red Online Casino the best you can possibly get,” said an ecstatic Ed Ware, 32Red CEO and founder.
