The Victorian bookmaker, who recently combined forces with his father Michael and moved to the Northern Territory, said he was forced to leave by the arrogant and ignorant attitude of the Victorian Government, whose archaic betting legislation does not allow Victorian bookmakers to compete on a level playing field with interstate corporate bookmakers.
