According to De Standaard, the online betting exchange has agreed to provide to the Belgian authorities the names of punters with suspicious betting patterns on the Belgian soccer matches suspected to have been rigged.

A Betfair spokesman said a small group of Belgians, possibly including some soccer players, risked at any odds great sums of money to win just small amounts.

In separate news, Betfair announced to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the British Darts Organisation, the sporting body that regulates darts in Britain. The agreement will operate in the same manner as the other agreements signed to date.
