Chelsea To Prove Too Strong For The Plucky Tigers

Table Toppers Chelsea put the Diego Costa saga behind them last weekend when they cruised to a 3-0 win at the champions Leicester and their fans will be saying Diego who? at Stamford Bridge this weekend when they host lowly Hull.

The Blues\’ have bounced back from their 2-0 defeat at Tottenham in title title-winning with back-to-back wins and they will have no problems against the Tigers\’ at the weekend.

Again the bookies aren\’t silly and have priced the title favourites up accordingly at just 1.20 for their NINTH successive win at Stamford Bridge and although, again that is not a price that I would want to take, if you do like the short odds this will be a winner.

These two sides met in October at the KC Stadium and Chelsea ran out very comfortable 2-0 winners with Hull hardly having a single shot on target and history also suggests it\’s going to be a very, very tough afternoon for the fans making the long trip down to west London.

In 21 previous visits to Stamford Bridge, Hull have never won and in their last couple of visits, they\’ve never looked like scoring, yet alone winning.

I have been impressed with Hull under new manager Marco Silva, they played well in the first half in the League Cup semi-final defeat against Manchester United and then they produced their best performance of the season to come from behind to beat Bournemouth last weekend but despite that, I couldn\’t be tempted by the 21.0 quotes.

The big problem for Silva and Hull is that they don\’t have a top class striker and that well prove their undoing in this match and despite what I expect to be a determined and gritty defence performance Chelsea will find their way past them eventually and a Chelsea win to nil at 1.80 with Pinnacle is the best bet in the match.
