Ten prominent iGaming operators will be invited to participate in the 2006 KPI Summit at the London Stock Exchange on June 30. The aim of the summit chaired by Baker Tilly, Canaccord Adams and Berwin Leighton Paisner, is to define the Key Performance Indicators for the gaming sector.

Industry experts will listen to a debate between operators and then reach a singular definition of the KPIs, following discussions on turnover, customer lifetime, lifetime customer value and active players. Following the summit, the definitions of the KPIs will be published in industry journals and made available to firms of accountants along with listed iGaming industry companies who wish to use them in their public accounts.

“With the maturation and market acceptance of this growing industry, we feel the time is right for the leading participants and the thought leaders of the iGaming industry to agree on the metrics that define their performance. By standardising the KPI\’s for the industy, public investors will be better able to make investment decisions,” commented Neil Johnson, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance of Canaccord Adams.
