It’s a tough weekend of betting in the Bundesliga this weekend with very few stand-out value bets. There are some good games though and I’ll take a quick run through the games that feel hold any value whatsoever. One of these games does stand out from the others in terms of value, I’ll let you know what one that is when we come to it.
Hannover v Stuttgart is the first game of the round and although I’m leaning towards a home win, this one isn’t clear-cut. Stuttgart are yet to pick up any points on the road this season but this game may be one they’ve looked at and thought “we can get something from that”. It could be a very entertaining game but it’s not one I’m getting involved in.
Dortmund v Schalke is one of a clutch of games kicking off at the same time and although I think Schalke may have the edge in regards to from, this one is tight. The head to head results between these two have been very even historically so it makes sense to go for the draw here at odds of 4.33 with BetVictor.
For the Eintracht Frankfurt v Bayer Leverkusen game I’m expecting a few goals and although the odds on Both Teams To Score is low, I was pleasantly surprised to see over 2.5 goals at odds of 1.73 with Pinnacle. I’m not going large on this one but I’ve got a small bet on it.
Augsburg v Wolfsburg is my one true value bet of the weekend and in this one, I’m backing the home side at odds of 2.4 (BetVictor). It could be a tight game as well and it’s no surprise to see the bookies favouring the Under 2.5 goals.
RB Leipzig v Werder Bremen is one of a number of games that I think hold no value this weekend. Freiburg v Mainz is another even if I’m personally very tempted by the odds available at some of the best green-listed bookmakers on a Mainz away win. Their away form is keeping me away from that one quite effectively though.
The evening game between Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayern Munich has the hallmarks of an excellent match and if the odds on a Bayern win creep up any higher then I’ll be backing them to win away from home. Right now though? No bet.
Hamburg have been a tough team to back or bet against, this season. They’re very good at zigging when you expect them to zag and, of course, the opposite. No bet for me this week as I don’t want the risk.
Unfortunately, I’ve got the same outcome for the FC Köln v Hertha Berlin match. No bet and probably not a very exciting game either.
