As reported by the Racing Post, a London court judge has set a date in September to hear the case presented by the Edinburgh-based bookmaker.
Spurway brought the betting exchange\’s concept to the High Street in 2003, but closed his Edinburgh Easibet shop two years later after a commission dispute with Betfair, which refused to split the commission on winning bets. The bookmaker says to be ready to call on a number of witnesses.
