The Premier League this weekend has a tricky look to it with some fixtures that could go either way and whilst we are still in the third week of the new season I would keep those wagers as small as possible.
I think the 1X2 looks very difficult in a lot of the top flight matches and the markets that I would like to look at this week are on the total goals or lack of them.
Crystal Palace is yet to score this season under new manager Frank de Boer and I can\’t see many goals at Selhurst Park this Saturday when they host Swansea.
The Swans have also failed to score a single goal Premier League goal and both these sides look as though they are set for a relegation battle and already this looks one that neither can afford to lose.
Last season these two did play a freaky 5-4 match in Swansea and that is why the price for the under is 1.75 at Betfair Sportsbook, but on what I\’ve seen so far this season, goals will be hard to find.
Another place where goals could be difficult is the Hawthorns where Tony Pulis welcomes back his former club Stoke to take on his West Brom team.
The Baggies have played two Premier League this season and both featured just a single goal and that has been exactly the same in Stoke matches and when you throw in the “Pulisfactor” you can see why I am keen on the under 2.5 again which is 1.55 with Betfair Sportsbook.
It\’s not going to be one of the most entertaining weekends in Premier League history and I continue on my under bets with the under 2.5 in the Huddersfield v Southampton match.
The Terriers have surprisingly a 100 per cent start to life in the top flight and the Yorkshiremen have managed not to concede in their opening two games.
Southampton was involved in a 3-2 thriller with West Ham last weekend, but they opened the season with a goalless draw at home to Swansea and in their first away match of the season they are expected to go very defensive and under 2.5 goals again looks the way to profit at 1.75 this time with BetVictor and other green listed bookmakers.
