The UK bookmaker signed a deal with Mahjong Systems Limited, a subsidiary of Montreal-based Dynasty Gaming, to launch Mahjong Mania, the first-to-market version of multiplayer online mahjong.
Mahjong Systems Limited will receive a licensing fee and an ongoing share of rake revenue from each game played on the Ladbrokes website.
“Our goal as the supplier of multiplayer Mahjong to established online gaming operators is to partner with those who have the best reach in our target markets. Ladbrokes, with its large Asian customer base is an important player in that space and we are very excited to be working with them,” commented MSL President Adriaan Brink.
“Over the last few months MSL has signed a number of licensing contracts with various online casinos and sports book operators and we are optimistic that several more contracts will be signed in Q1 2006,” he added.
