Figures released by the Nevada Gaming Control Board show the state\’s 176 licensed sports books won $8.8 million from a record of $94.5 million in wagers on Sunday\’s Super Bowl.
Frank Streshley, the control board\’s statistical analyst, said the sports books were able to balance the action and generally do well because despite there was a lot of early money on Pittsburgh, a lot of late money that came in after the line moved was on Seattle.
