The six members of the Senate Judiciary Committee voted unanimously to send the constitutional amendment to the Senate without making a recommendation on whether it should be approved. The amendment, if approved by the Senate, would appear on the June 2006 primary ballot for North Dakotans to vote on whether “authorize Internet live poker located in the state and licensed and regulated by the state.”
