The German Football Association (DFB) and the German Football League (DFL) reached an agreement with internet bookmakers (BetandWin, Betfair, Interwetten and Sportingbet) and representatives of other European football leagues (England and Spain) and football associations FIFA and UEFA, to introduce an early warning and reaction system to avoid game manipulation and related betting scandals.
They voted in favour of composing a Code of Conduct and create a collaboration between the European Sports Security Agency (ESSA, initiated by the European Betting Association) and Betradar, a world\’s leading information supplier for bookmakers.
