Phumelela and Tabcorp to back the UK racing consortium in its renewed bid for the Tote

A source close to the negotiation for the sale of Tote bookmaker revealed that the racing consortium comprising the Racecourse Holdings Trust, the Racecourses Association and the Racehorse Owners Association, has lined up South Africa\’s Phumelela and Australia\’s Tabcorp as backers in its renewed bid for the state-owned bookmaker.
