The former Betfair\’s head of Irish operations has started legal proceedings against the betting exchange for unfair dismissal.
Farrell, who was one of Ireland\’s most high profile bookmakers before joining Betfair in 2002, left the firm in acrimonious circumstances last June.
The case will be heard later this month at the Employment Appeals Tribunal in Dublin.
