SportsBet to take Racing Victoria to the High Court

Australia’s oldest licensed sports bookmaker believes Racing Victoria doesn’t have the right to impose a tax on a business that is not within its jurisdiction. Australian corporate bookmakers currently pay a 1 per cent product tax on turnover to use Victorian race fields and take bets on Victorian racing.
