The action continues in Houston with the Fayez Sarofim & Co. US Men Clay Court Championship quarter-finals taking place this Friday. Bookmakers Review breaks down the fixture below and lists the best available odds from green listed bookmakers.

Sock vs. Lopez
Two former top 15 players – Jack Sock and Feliciano Lopez – will fight this Friday for a place at the ATP Houston semi-finals.
Playing in Houston brings great memories to Jack Sock with the no.1 American winning 90.00% of the matches played on this event since 2015. Even though most Americans prefer to compete on other game conditions, clay is definitely one of Sock’s favourite surfaces. Looking now at Jack’s campaign on this tournament, the world no.16 reaches this stage of the competition after a three-set victory over Tommy Haas on his first match on clay since May 2016.
Known for his outstanding skills at the net, the slower conditions on clay are far from ideal for Feliciano Lopez’s game style. However, the veteran Spaniard is always a tough opponent due to his large experience and tricky slices. Feliciano’s experience proved decisive in the previous round against the Hyeon Chung with the 20-year-old South Korean unable to close the match after leading by a set and a break.
These two players are no strangers with Lopez winning their first encounter four years ago in Memphis while Sock got his revenge last season in Shanghai.
As we mentioned before, Sock is a beast on this tournament with a phenomenal record in recent years. Even though Feliciano is always a tough opponent, the American should be too strong for Lopez. With this in mind, Jack is the undeniable favourite for this match with Ladbrokes offering 4/10 for his triumph while Lopez is available at 23/10 at William Hill. For those who want to take a higher risk, Jack’s -1.5 Set Handicap at 28/25 at Pinnacle is also a good approach for this contest.
