We’ve to reach the decisive day with the Abierto Mexicano Final taking place this Saturday in Acapulco. Bookmakers Review breaks down the fixtures below and lists the best available odds from green listed bookmakers.

ATP Acapulco – Querrey vs. Nadal

For the first time in history, an American will play the ATP Acapulco Final. Against all expectations, Sam Querrey surprised Nick Kyrgios after his outstanding victory over Novak Djokovic. Even though Querrey is famous for his powerful serve, the highlight in Acapulco clearly goes to his returning stats with the world no.40 winning 36.36% of his opponents’ service games. This is Sam’s 16th career final on the ATP World Tour with Querrey still looking for his first ATP 500 title.

Rafael Nadal continues his impressive run in Acapulco with the Spaniard improving his record on this event to 14 – 0 after his win against Marin Cilic. As we mentioned in our previous analysis, the high bouncing courts in Acapulco clearly suit Nadal’s heavy topspin forehand. Taking a look now to Rafael’s campaign on this event, the former world no.1 reaches this stage of the competition without dropping a single set.

This will be the 5th career meeting between these two players with Querrey still searching for his first victory against the Spaniard.

As the h2h suggests, Nadal clearly holds the edge over this opponent. The bookmakers think the same with 5Dimes offering 1/5 for his triumph while Querrey is available at 4/1 at Bet365. Although we expect Nadal to emerge victorious from this final, it’s hard for us to find value on his -4.5 game handicap due to Sam’s powerful serve. On the other hand, Rafael’s -1.5 Set Handicap at 13/20 at Pinnacle seems to be the best betting approach for this final.

WTA Acapulco – Tsurenko vs. Mladenovic

Kristina Mladenovic continues her outstanding campaign in 2017 with the French already ensuring her career high ranking next week. After winning her first title a few weeks ago in St. Petersburg, Mladenovic is just one win away from claiming another trophy in Acapulco. Looking now to Kristina’s journey on this event, the French reaches this stage of the competition after a tough three sets victory over Christina McHale in the semi-finals.

After only 25 minutes on the court, Lesia Tsurenko secured a place in the Abierto Mexicano Final. Mirjana Lucic-Baroni retired when Tsurenko as already leading by 5 – 0 in the opening set due to injury. Tsurenko is trying to extend her perfect record in decisive matches after emerging victorious from her previous two finals in Istanbul two years ago and last season in Guangzhou.

These two players know each other well with Tsurenko winning three of their previous four meetings.

Despite Lesia’s lead on the h2h, Mladenovic won their previous encounter last year in Dubai by 6 – 2 7 – 6. Taking a look now at the odds available for this game, the bookmakers give a slight advantage to Mladenovic with the French available at 3/4 with BetVictor while William Hill offers 6/5 for Tsurenko’s victory. Even though we understand the current prices due to Mladenovic’s

results this year, it won’t be easy for the French to overcome such a tough opponent as Tsurenko. With this in mind, we’ll go with the underdog since we expect a very close affair with Lesia taking at least one set in this match – which is currently available at 12/25 at Pinnacle on Tsurenko’s +1.5 Set Handicap.
