Vandeweghe vs. Keys

After slow start to 2017, Madison Keys couldn’t have asked for a better result in her return to North-America. Despite her lack of success in recent months, the 22-year-old American claimed her first title of the year at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford. Nevertheless, the concerns regarding Madison’s physical condition continue after her recent withdrawal from the Rogers Cup in Toronto due to a left forearm injury.

At the age of 25, Coco Vandeweghe is going through the best moment in her career. In addition to her terrific 27 – 14 record in 2017, Vandeweghe reached her first Grand Slam semi-final in Melbourne. Known as one of the most powerful player on the WTA Tour, the fast court conditions in Cincinnati are perfect for Coco’s game style. However, the world no.21 only won 28.57% of the matches throughout her career on this event.

These two players know each other very well. Not only are they good friends off the court but this is also their 2nd official meeting with Keys emerging victorious from their previous encounter at the Bank of the West Classic final two weeks ago.

Despite Madison’s lead on the h2h, it won’t be easy for Keys to overcome her fellow countrywoman. The bookmakers also expect a close encounter with Keys available at 4/5 at Ladbrokes while 5Dimes offer 23/20 for Vandeweghe’s victory. With this in mind, our suggestion is for you to place a bet on the Over 22 at 17/20 at Pinnacle as the best betting approach for this contest.

Best Play: Over 22 at 17/20 at Pinnacle

Babos vs. Vinci

Playing in the U.S. brings great memories to Roberta Vinci due to her incredible run at the 2015 US Open. At the age of 34, Vinci continues to be one of the trickiest players in the game. Despite her poor 9 – 16 record in 2017, the Italian is a completely different player at this stage of the season. On the other hand, Roberta is a former quarter-finalist at the Western & Southern Open.

After a brilliant start to 2017, Timea Babos is going through one of the worst times in her professional career. Despite her unquestionable quality, the 24-year-old Hungarian lost 10 of her last 11 matches on the WTA Tour. Adding to this, Timea has plenty of points to defend this week in Cincinnati after reaching the quarter-finals last season as a qualifier.

This will be the 7th career meeting between these two players with Vinci leading on the h2h by 5 – 1.

As the h2h suggests, the Italian is far from an easy match-up for Babos. Moreover, the low-bouncing courts in Cincinnati should benefit Vinci’s tricky slices. Having said that, the value is definitely on Roberta’s tennis betting odds at 3/4 at BetVictor while Babos is available at 61/50 at Pinnacle.

Best Play: Roberta Vinci ML at 3/4 at BetVictor
